Threod expands electro-optical camera range with smaller, lighter eOpic-4
Threod Systems has expanded its eOpic electro-optical camera systems family with the introduction of eOpic-4, a new camera system developed for lightweight intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) platforms.
eOpic-4 builds on experience gained with the eOpic-5, combining an updated sensor set with a smaller 4-inch form factor. The new system weighs less than 0.8 kg, approximately 300 grams less than eOpic-5, while delivering improved imaging performance for ISR missions.
The reduced size and weight are intended to support integration on lightweight unmanned aircraft and other ISR platforms where allowable payload weight is limited.
eOpic-4 joins Threod’s existing range of electro-optical camera systems for unmanned and manned ISR applications.
